Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was asked to leave a review… have yet to receive my glove.. customer service is terrible, received an email saying my glove was 95% done 7 weeks after i ordered… waited another week to receive an email telling me my glove was now delayed 5 more weeks, offered me the same discount i already get through my sons travel team anyway… and basically told me suck it up and wait…. My son was the only kid who didn’t receive his glove for his first tournament and i ordered him with plenty of time…. Will not spend this type of money again with this company for sure! If nothing goes wrong and you don’t have to deal with customer service go for it! Also still waiting for my glove to ship

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Quality Glove 👌 My daughter absolutely loved her new Rawlings customized glove. We designed it together and it was a lot of fun doing that together. The glove was anticiapted to be ready early February but it arrived before Christmas. Perfect Christma gift! The quality of the glove and attention to detail is top notch. We also got the glove engraved and it adds that extra personal touch to it. I definitely recommend Rawlings customized gloves to anyone looking for a high quality glove that you design to your own liking.

This heart of the hide has a standard wrist opening, 204 pattern in 11.5” size, Pro I web, tan leather everywhere including the lining, welting and binding, dark tan laces, ivory stitching and embroidery, ident stamping, full heel pad, BOA wrist liner, leather palm pad and a firm break in. I applied some pure mink oil to the glove and it gave the tan leather an added richness to it. I’ll try and add some photos so y’all can see the before and after mink oil. We’ll see how the glove holds up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LET'S GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! 3 UP 3 DOWN!!! Got my custom HOH Rawlings 1st base glove in record time (3 weeks) and it is by far THE BEST GLOVE I have ever owned in my life!! It is absolutely stunning and fits my hand perfectly and just feels like heaven when I put it on. Designed in classic old school colors and when I rub some Rawlings glove conditioner on to soften it, the inside takes on a "Cognac color" rather than tan. All tan with a few blonde accents with Timberglaze lacing and red and blue accents. ..Pure perfection!! Took the extra time to break it in exactly the way I wanted it in less than a month with the 50/50 break-in available from the factory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Custom Glove Process through Rawlings This is the only way a true baseball parent should ever buy a glove for a serious youth, teen or adult player. Designing on their website is very clear and life like. The process only took 24-days from the date of order. The package it comes in is first class. The glove was the best glove I have ever purchased (of many). And the price was $30-40 more than what I would pay for a non-custom, store bought glove. I am just mad at myself that I did it so late in my son’s baseball career. Thank you Rawling’s…job well done!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Glove and Delivery! R2G not so much! Designed and purchased infield softball glove for my daughter. Glove was received two weeks ahead of schedule. Design and final product were exact match. I requested (R2G) ready to go, so the glove would be mostly broken in upon arrival. Unfortunately, when glove was received it was hard as a rock. The website claims R2G is 65% percent factory break-in. This glove was harder than anything you will ever find in a store. My hope, this is due to the leather quality, and it will last a long time before needing another to replace. After working the glove for months now, it is finally at a point where she can actually squeeze it enough to retain a ball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal Build!! Hard to contain my enthusiasm over the quality craftsmanship and sturdy feel of my custom glove. Glove arrived earlier than the prescribed 7 weeks and looked entirely identical to the mock-up photos...one plus was that the personal inscriptions on the glove came larger than how they appeared in the photos...this is very good. Can't wait to break-in and enjoy for a long, long time to come. Thanks, Rawlings!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inconsistent Quality Control I purchased 2 custom heart of the hides within a week of each other; this one which is an all black TT2 and an all tan 200 series which I previously did a review on. I initially noticed that the break in was not FIRM like I had ordered and that the leather was noticeably thinner than the tan 200 series I had received a week earlier. I also noticed that the thumb loop/sleeve was different than my 200 series and looked like it had been done in a rush. Overall it’s a decent enough glove, but having compared it to my custom tan heart of the hide (which is awesome), the leather on this glove is thinner and far less firm and the thumb loop is not as nice. I’m disappointed with the inconsistency between the two gloves and can’t recommend spending all that money on a custom glove anymore. If I could return it, I definitely would.
