My Favorite Ball
While this ball is sold without the case and is the same price as the one that does, I prefer this one because of the packaging. They come in a box with tissue paper and the ball is in perfect condition. I find that the ones that come in the display case end up dinged or have marks pressed into the leather due to how they're packed. Definitely the best official ball you can get and perfect for autographs and display.

Know how to use your balls
Over the last couple decades I have bought dozens and dozens of Rawlings baseballs from the Outlet store near Disney in Orlando FL.
First off, if out hawking autographs at a game ONLY hold the balls by the seams. If you get sweat on the area for signing, ink will eventually spread across the leather like one reviewer said about it fading. Some ballpoint pens are ok, never use a sharpie, and best yet, if you can get a Staedtler pen, DO IT.
Just like the players', keep the balls out of UV light, as much as possible anyway. Depending on the pen used and how much UV, it will fade somewhat eventually, but the speed is determined by how hard the light hits the sigs.
Looking at a price of $19.95, buy them in bulk from Rawlings or else you may pay $30 to $50 each at a ballpark or from the new econ-terror group Fanatics.
Overall, depending on how you handle your goods and knowledge of use will help keep your balls in good shape!

This Baseball was a wake-up call, for sure!
$24.95 for a baseball and the league is made up of players from countries where the average daily wage is less than this singular baseball. People in this country need to realize they're being bled for everything possible and bent over the table. No lubrication is being mentioned, much less used.
