Do Not Purchase From Rawlings
Upon placing the order for the ball, I planned on going to a William Contreras autograph signing. Having made the 2024 All Star game, it would've been fitting to have him sign a ball during an event he was a part of. Its not every day a Brewers player makes it to an All Star game after all. 2 1/2 weeks prior to the signing, I had placed my order and was told to expect it in about 7-10 days. All things were looking great until I received an email saying that the ball was delayed despite saying it was in-stock and ready to ship. Typically, things like this can happen occasionally which isn't the problem I had. The problem that became evident was the lackluster communication and customer service or support. Trying to get in contact with anyone regarding the whereabouts of my order was a nightmare to put it lightly. Thankfully I was able to refund my order (Will not share how I did that while writing this) on my end and get my money back. Ironically this is not where the story ends. In fact, it gets even worse. Two months after all this had transpired, I receive an email recently saying the item had been shipped and it'll be on its way. Surprisingly the ball did actually show up in the mail which I will give credit where credit is due and say the ball looks great. Yet, what am I supposed to do with it now? Have it be signed by Contreras? That really would've been helpful it had arrived during the time I needed it and had a customer service that actually existed. One of the biggest slaps in the face to a consumer I've ever been a part of. My message to any consumer who either plans on spending or acquiring an item from Rawlings on their website, save your money and take it elsewhere. Unless you want your time wasted, do not and I repeat, DO NOT, purchase from Rawlings's website.
