Love the gold oval. Timber glaze is similar to a leather a western boot would be constructed of. The glove I received had a bad wrinkle in the index finger palm area. It was very noticeable. And is getting worse. I thought mallet work would help the leather relax, or smooth out. But has since gotten worse. The webbing was very loose, as well as the wrist. The webbing has glue or adhesive around the stitching. The back shell of the glove is very inconsistent as far as color goes. The glove has a good firmness. Rawlings has nailed glove comfort. The padded thumb is awesome. The pinky ring stall could be a little bit better when it comes to adjustability, but not bad at all. I really try to look past the flaws in this glove. Paying $20 over a regular HOH, and seeing how sloppy the glove was put together is very upsetting. This is making me second guess customizing.
