Adirondack Adult Wood Bat

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price, great bat for contact hitters My son was looking for a balanced wood bat and the maples just had too much end load for the way he likes a bat to feel. I didn't want to spend a ton on a bat he was only going to use in 5 summer tournaments so for under $40 trying this ash bat seemed like a smart idea. It showed up right as we were headed to the park for Game 1 of the first tournament and I put the grip tape on in the car while he was warming up. It paid for itself on the first swing. Fly out but scored a runner on the tag. He loves the feel of the open grain ash. Quicker with the hands and great barrel control than maple. If you are a contact hitter that doesn't want to spend $200 on a bat that will eventually break, then consider this bat. Ash is notoriously fragile so we bought a second bat just in case. However he is now 3 tournaments into the summer, he is batting .455 and he is still using bat number one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible. I just bought this bat in store yesterday. Decided to take it out for a spin at the batting cage, and about 20 hits in; the handle had two cracks in it. I absolutely loved the way this bat was producing, but this bat would not be able to last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute Garbage We purchased this on May 12th. 32 inch for my 76 pound - 11 year old son. The idea was to have a bat he could use against my 9 year old (56 pound) who pitches to him. His normal bat is a 19/29, so we were hoping to reduce hitting velocity with this bad to reduce the chance of injuring the pitcher. Used it twice in practice. Second time, hit three inside pitches down the third baseline. On the third pitch, bat cracked. Two practices, an 8 day old bat. And then to find out it has no warranty. Extremely disappointed. I grew up using only wooden bats. If I had to buy a new bat every other week my parents would have made me play soccer.
